Receiving hoppers situated below ground level and serves to unload peat from special railway peat tipper wagons. The extracted peat is tipped into two hoppers equipped with moving floor (rubber conveyor belt). These moving floors convey unloaded peat onto a cross belt conveyor laid under the tracks. The hoppers, the conveyor, and the sub-rail beam of both the hoppers are placed on a sturdy and stable steel structure. The hoppers are equipped with an adjustable gate and walk-on iron grids for the operators, which also catch roots and other undesired objects. The entire unloading unit is made from carbon steel with protective paint coating.
The length of the hopper allows unloading of an entire wagon of peat at once.
