The dosing hopper is available in several volume sizes: 5, 8, 10, 12 and 18 m3. The hopper is used for stocking raw material and dosing it onto transport routes for further processing. The hopper consists of a hopper with a movable bottom, a pumper and a gate, all placed on a support structure, made of structural steel and coated with a protective coating. The hopper is in the shape of an inverted conical needle.
Inlet dosing hopper DZ
The inlet dosing hopper is used in the peat processing line and also in the peat mixing line. The upper part of the hopper inlet is open for feeding raw materials, usually by a front wheel loader or conveyor, and may be fitted with a grate to catch roots and other unwanted objects. The raw material is moved by a movable bottom to a scraper and an adjustable gate. It falls out in a controlled manner onto a collection conveyor belt located under the hopper. The hoppers are lined up in a row and sandwich the raw material successively onto the collection conveyor. The raw materials in the hoppers are peat, soils, composts and sands.
