The magnetic separator is mounted on a suspended structure above the conveyor belt. It is used to remove metal parts that could damage the following technology. These include various bolts, screws and pieces of mining equipment that have entered the raw material during mining.

In contrast to the fixed static separator, this separator is equipped with a rubber belt for permanent cleaning of the magnet.
