A hybrid shredder is a machine used for very fine crushing in waste sorting facilities, and waste sorting lines, especially in electronic waste processing lines (frames of televisions, computers, tuners, video sets, telephones, etc.). It is designed as a combination of a single-shaft shredder and a hammer mill, in which the hammers crush the electronic waste into large pieces using a movable stator blade. The blade can be adjusted according to the required output size. The output is 200–300mm pieces of waste.
