Compaction is the process of producing fully-fledged industrial fertilizer granules from single-component substances using a dry method. Each granule contains a set ratio of input raw materials, i.e., nutrients, according to the chosen formula. It is a highly efficient technology where, under high pressure, a continuous compressed sheet is formed from a mixture of input materials, which is then disintegrated into individual granules. This is a closed, waste-free process of completely converting input materials into the final product.

A transmodal terminal at a seaport had requested a line for the unloading of bulk granulated fertilizers from railway wagons and reloading them into maritime shipping containers. AGRO CS had developed a set of 2 special telescopically retracting belt conveyors that automatically alternate in shifting into 40’ or 20’ sea containers, i.e. a regime when one container is being filled while the other one is being prepared for filling.

A customer needed to shred seized counterfeited shoes, clothes, plastic toys, cartons of cigarettes, as well as documents, etc. The input waste had different sizes of boxes ranging from 200x400x200mm to 600x800x600mm. The required size of the crushed output material was 80x200mm and the quantity was about 3-5 t/h.

A customer needed to reliably dispose of disused electricity meters, which had been used for measuring electricity consumption; the measured figures were used for invoicing. The customer required a specialised autonomous machine capable of disposing of 500 electric meter units per hour. The units had to be destroyed so that they could no longer be used, but fragments were to be sorted for recycled use or eco-friendly disposal.
